مقامات انرژی کوبا اعلام کردند که شبکه برق این کشور دوباره متصل شده و بزرگترین نیروگاه نفتی این کشور به مدار آمده است و به خاموشی سراسری که بیش از ۲۹ ساعت به طول انجامید، پایان داده است. این خاموشی در بحبوحه اقدام آمریکا برای قطع سوخت این جزیره رخ داده بود.
1 week agoپس از قطعی طولانی برق بیش از ۲۴ ساعت، اعتراضاتی در ال ودادو (هاوانا) و همچنین در سانتیاگو د کوبا آغاز شد و ساکنان در اعتراض به کمبود خدمات اولیه به خیابانها آمدند. با افزایش تظاهرات، فشار در خیابانها رو به افزایش است.
رژیم کوبا ۲۱ زندانی سیاسی را آزاد و ۱۵ معترض را دستگیر کرد. دیدهبان حقوق بشر کوبا ۳۵ اقدام سرکوبگرانه را تنها در چهار روز محکوم کرد.
به گزارش نیویورک تایمز، مذاکرهکنندگان آمریکایی میخواهند به عنوان پیششرط توافق با این جزیره، میگل دیاز-کانل، رئیسجمهور، کنارهگیری کند.
